First ISPA Newsletter; ICPA Awards and Full Paper

Dear International Precision Agriculture Community:
I am pleased to share with you the First Newsletter of the International Society of Precision Agriculture. You can read the newsletter online at the society website or download the pdf file for offline reading.  We appreciate the contributions from many countries in this newsletter and would encourage all of you to please submit articles of interest, on-going research work, awards, news, etc., that is happening in your part of the world to be shared with the entire International Precision Agriculture Community. Happy reading!
Also, I would like to alert your attention to a few important 11th ICPA deadlines and ISPA Elections:
I. Awards (Deadline Monday April 16th, 2012): Please have all the documentation submitted for your nominee by or before then to awards@ispag.org. Details of the awards are available at https://www.ispag.org/icpa/awards/.
II. Full Paper Submission (Deadline April 30th, 2012): Please upload your full papers for oral and poster paper presentation by or before April 30th, 2012. Author’s instructions are available online on our website.

III. Early bird Registration (Deadline June 15th, 2012): Conference registration fees are as follows:

  • $650 Full Conference Registration for ISPA members (including up to 2yrs of ISPA membership)
  • $750 Full Conference Registration for non-members
  • $350  Student Registration
  • $350 Precision A to Z for Practitioners registration
Full conference registration includes access to all plenary and breakout sessions, exhibit hall, and poster session; Sunday evening reception, Luncheon on Monday and Tuesday and all breaks; a proceedings CD, conference program, and conference portfolio bag.
IV. ISPA Society Elections: The International Society of Precision Agriculture will be having its elections for the Position of President Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer positions. It is an excellent opportunity for you to lead your society that is truly global in nature. Please take some time to nominate yourself or your colleague for these important positions. The position description and responsibilities are available online at the society website www.ispag.org. Please send your nominations to nominations@ispag.org.
