Virtual ICPA 2020 Launching June 30
ISPA will be launching Virtual ICPA 2020 on June 30th.
The first session is slated to begin at 1:30pm U.S. CDT (UTC -5).
The session is scheduled to be approximately 90 minutes.
ISPA President, Dr. Ian Yule will open the webinar with a welcome message and introduce our keynote speaker, Dr. David Lamb, Chief Scientist at Food Agility CRC and McClymont Distinguished Professor at the University of New England in Australia. Dr. Lamb’s talk is titled, "Precision in the Food Chain". After the presentation we will have time for select questions from the audience.
After the keynote, Dr. James Lowenberg-DeBoer, President-Elect of ISPA and Chair of the Awards Committee will announce the winners of the Pierre C. Robert Junior Scientist and Senior Scientist Awards.
Dr. Nicolas Tremblay, Past-President of ISPA will then announce the results of the election for ISPA Board of Officers. Three positions were up for election: Treasurer, Secretary, and President-Elect.
After the election results we will have the transfer of the ISPA Presidency led by Dr. Ian Yule who will give remarks on his term of office and pass the gavel to Dr. James Lowenberg-DeBoer.
Following the transfer of the gavel to the new President, we will briefly outline the plan for the Virtual ICPA over the coming weeks.
